Toll payments in Czech Republic are handled through digital vignettes, which are linked to your vehicle's license plate.
You can easily purchase a digital vignette online at Tollvignettes.com using credit card, PayPal, or another payment method. After completing your purchase, you'll receive a confirmation email, ensuring a quick and hassle-free experience for traveling on Czech Republic’s motorways.
In Czech Republic, toll motorways are identified by an D and expressways are identified by an R. Most R roads have been converted into D roads, which can be identified by their red signs. A valid digital vignette is essential for travel on these designated motorways.
The motorways can also be labeled with an E. This is the same motorway as indicated with an D, but E means it is part of a broader European network that spans multiple countries.

The price of the vignette is based on the emission level of your vehicle.

Traditional fuels such as gasoline and diesel, used in most conventional vehicles. These have higher emissions compared to alternative fuels.
Natural gas
A renewable fuel produced from organic waste, with lower CO₂ emissions. It is considered an environmentally friendly alternative to natural gas.
Biomethane
Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) and Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) are cleaner alternatives to standard fuels. LPG (Liquefied Petroleum Gas) does not fall under this category.
Hybrid
Vehicles that use both a combustion engine and an electric motor, with a CO₂ emission limit of 50 g/km. They are designed for more efficient energy use and lower emissions.
